What we do with your details

Written in plain English rather than legal boilerplate, because a notice nobody reads protects nobody. It covers the contact form, which is the only place this website collects anything about you.

Who we are

Moonmix Media is the data controller for the details you send through this website. That means we decide why they are collected and what happens to them.

The quickest way to reach us about anything on this page is to email james@moonmixmedia.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form. Every field is required, so we collect all of the following.

  • Your name
  • Your company name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • What your business does
  • What you need help with
  • The message you write

Because the form is sent from your browser rather than from our server, Web3Forms also receives your IP address and browser user agent as part of that request. We do not collect anything else, and there is nothing on this site that tracks you as you browse.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry, reply to it, and talk to you about the work. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, specifically responding to a business enquiry that you started. We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we never sell them.

Who else sees it

Two others, and it is worth being straight about both.

Web3Forms is the form service that delivers your message. Your submission goes to them first and they pass it on to us by email, so they process it on our behalf. Their processing may take place outside the UK. You can read their own privacy terms at web3forms.com/privacy.

Seonat is our sister agency, and enquiries reach a shared inbox at forms@seonat.co.uk. Seonat delivers the web design, SEO, Google Ads and Meta Ads work described on this site, so if your enquiry is about any of those it is handled by their team. If it is about social media marketing it is handled by us.

Nobody else. We do not share your details with any other third party and we do not sell them to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for 24 months from the date you send them, so we have the context if you come back to us. After that they are deleted. If you become a client, the details move into our normal client records and are kept for as long as we work together plus the period our accountants require. You can ask us to delete an enquiry sooner at any time.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no tracking scripts of any kind. There is nothing to consent to, which is why you have not been shown a cookie banner. If that ever changes we will add a proper consent banner before it does, not after.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can do all of the following, free of charge, and we will respond within one month.

  • Ask for a copy of what we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong
  • Ask us to delete it
  • Ask us to restrict how we use it
  • Object to us using it
  • Ask us to transfer it to someone else

Email james@moonmixmedia.com and tell us which one you want. We may ask you to confirm who you are first, so that we do not hand your details to somebody else.

How to complain

If you think we have handled your details badly, please tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, which is the UK regulator, at ico.org.uk. You do not have to speak to us first, but it is usually quicker.

Changes to this notice

If we change what we collect or who sees it, we will update this page and change the date below. This notice was last updated on 21 October 2026.
