Straight answers
Because a fair price depends on how many areas you cover, how much content there is to work with and how competitive your market is. A published price would either be too high for a single shop or too low for somebody covering four counties. We would rather quote properly.
Nothing long. We work month to month once the initial setup is done. If it is not working you can stop, which is a reasonable thing to ask of anyone spending your money.

Social and paid ads move fastest, usually within the first month. SEO is a longer game and normally starts showing in three to six months depending on the area. We will tell you which lever suits your situation rather than selling you all of them at once.
